What Happens After I Place an Order on Bijoro.com?
Once your order is submitted, we place a temporary authorization hold on your credit card for the full amount. This hold verifies that your card is valid and that sufficient funds are available. Although the funds are reserved, we do not capture the payment immediately.
We typically capture the funds and begin processing within 7 days. However, because many of our pieces are handcrafted to order, some styles may require 2β3 weeks for production prior to shipping.
How Long Does a Credit Card Authorization Last?
Authorizations usually remain active for up to 7 days. If we havenβt captured the funds within that window, the authorization will expire, and the held funds will be released by your card issuerβtypically within 3β5 business days, depending on your bank.
What Is Extra Verification?
As part of our commitment to fraud protection and secure transactions, all new Bijoro orders over $2,000 are sent to our Verification Department. In some cases, we may request additional information to confirm the identity of the cardholder.
If your order is selected for extra verification, we will reach out via email to request:
- A clear photo of your government-issued ID
- A photo of the credit card used, showing only the last 4 digits
- (Optional but recommended) A selfie of you holding the ID
This process helps ensure that all orders are placed securely and protects our customers from unauthorized use. Your documents are never stored long-term β they are securely reviewed and then removed from our system.
When Will I Receive My Order?
Most Bijoro pieces ship within 7 business days, but some made-to-order styles may take up to 2β3 weeks. If you have a specific deadline or need expedited shipping, please leave a note at checkout or email us at support@bijoro.com β weβre happy to accommodate whenever possible.
Can I Cancel My Order?
Orders may be canceled for a full refund if production has not begun and the item has not shipped. Once your order enters production or has been shipped, a restocking fee and any shipping charges will apply.
To request a cancellation, please email us at orders@bijoro.com with the subject line:

We will confirm cancellation within 24 hours.
Note: Custom pieces are not eligible for cancellation or return once production has started. Please refer to your custom jewelry agreement for full details.
